I have always loved hot air balloons, but I had never seen one up close before, until this past weekend. As I watched over 50 balloons take flight within minutes, I was amazed. They were beautiful ...and to see them up close...to see how gigantic they were and how they flew so gracefully through the sky...I wa extremely excited.
Something that always seemed magical to me as a child, had the opportunity to make an even bigger impression on my children. Now if I could only work up the nerve to ride in one. I think I will have to work on a few things before that happens- such as my fear of heights : )
