I came across these amazing matchbook masterpieces pieces and I had to share them. Jason D'Aquino is a miniaturist- he works incredibly small and with incredible attention to detail. I LOVE his choice of medium, the subject matter and the surfaces he draws upon- they all speak to a vintage era which is still relevant today.
Whenever I see artwork that is incredibly small with incredible detail...I am incredibly jealous.
Bigger is not always better.
