Food truck series: The Tin Kitchen

Jason and I decided to try out The Tin Kitchen this week.  There were so many choices that looked sooooo good, but we decided on two different types of tacos.  Once again, I was crazy impressed by how good the food can be when cooked in a tin box on wheels.

Jason ordered the smoked salmon tacos with jalapeno cilantro rice, pineapple pico de gallo, and cilantro lime aioli.

This taco was light and filled with fresh ingredients.  The combination of spicy jalapeno rice and the slightly sweet pineapple pico de gallo was perfect.

As good as the salmon tacos were, I loved my choice even more.  I ordered the pork belly tacos with "30 minute" kim-chi, hoison glaze and sliced green onions.

The crispy pork belly with hoison glaze went perfectly with the tangy-ness of the kim-chi.

The Tin Kitchen's menu highlights everything good about tacos.  Some of the other choices on the menu include Chicken Tinga tacos, veggie tacos and bbq beef brisket tacos.

I will track down The Tin Kitchen again...hopefully, soon.  You can find them by checking out the location & events tab on their website
