Two people...two dancers...on the rooftop of Four World Trade Center, Christopher Wheeldon's After the Rain softly...and hauntingly...playing, a sunrise slowly brightening the sky, all among a backdrop of the newly constructed One World Trade Center. This tribute to the remembrance of 9/11 is the most moving and beautiful one I have seen. The NYC Ballet principal dancers, Maria Kowroski and Ask the Court, perform this beautiful pas de deux as "a testament to the resilience of the human spirit, and a tribute to the future of the city that New York City Ballet calls home." Beautiful.

"New Beginnings"...a beautiful 9/11 tribute performed through ballet
