Have you seen this?...Theo and Beau, six months later

Do you remember these two?  I first wrote about Beau and his canine companion Theo six months ago when Theo was only 7 weeks old.  Now, six months later, they are still napping together every day and even though the sleeping arrangements may be a little more crowded, these two are no less adorable.  I could spend most of my day looking at these peaceful and sweet moments.  So cute : )

Have you seen this?...Minimalist vacation home inside of a rock

This minimalist vacation home made out of a concrete rock is beckoning me to Spain.  The amazing collaboration of the architects of Ensamble Studio and a cow named Paulina have created one of the most unique vacation homes I have ever seen.  Now back to Paulina (the cow)...the structure was made by stacking hay bales into a form they wanted, then covered in concrete.  After it was allowed to cure, the structure was cut open and Paulina's talent was utilized to perfection.  She ate the hay out of the structure and the form that was left behind became the minimalist rock vacation home we see here.  

I absolutely LOVE it!  The rock home is strategically placed on a cliff overlooking a lake, and though it is rustic and modern at the same time, every thing you need is at your disposal. I LOVE the fireplace and the hidden toilet.  Genius  : )

Have you seen this?...A Costa Rican village covered in flower petals

I was amazed when I saw these photos by photographer Nick Meek. During this ad campaign for Sony's 4K TV, he covered a Costa Rican village with over 8 million flower petals. It took Meek, his creative team and the inhabitants of the village two weeks to pluck all the petals needed for this visual feat.

What's better than a volcano erupting and spewing forth flowers instead of lava and ash? Pretty cool : )

Have you seen this?...A mom and her 4 year old daughter make paper dresses together

I LOVE this kid...affectionately called "Mayhem" by her mom : )  One day about nine months ago, Mayhem and her mom, Angie, made a paper dress for her and posted it to her Instagram account. The design collaboration started rather simply...

...but over the nest few months, the designs, became more complicated.

They began to expand the materials they were using to include tissue paper, wrapping paper, gift bags and scarves.

The inspiration for their creations came from places they went, such as the shark dress...inspired by a visit to the aquarium.

...or from various cartoon characters...such as Elsa from "Frozen"...

 ...and Minnie Mouse.

As time went, the designing duo's confidence seemed to build enough to take on runway fashion...love it : )

And then...what designer isn't inspired by awards season and the beautiful parade of Hollywood starlets.

I LOVE the collaboration between this mother/daughter team!  I can't wait to see what they come up with next : )

Have you seen this?...A bird's eye view

I have often wondered what it feels like to be a bird flying through the sky...and now I know : )  I came across this the other day and had to share.

I love how he seems so completely unconcerned about the people he is flying over.  I am definitely suffering from bird envy now : )  Of course, it helps that this bird lives where there are amazing views. 

Have you seen this?...Woman reenacts selfies of the mustached man who acquired her misssing phone

JANUARY: This is one woman’s journey, through another man’s selfies.

Here is the back story- Danielle Bruckman misplaced her phone during the New Year's festivities on January 1st, 2013.  Through some glitch in the Apple cloud, all the photos taken with her missing phone have been retained in her cloud account.  For a year, Danielle has been posting one photo per month of her re-enacting a selfie of the mustached man who is now in possession of her phone. Each duo of selfies comes with a caption that dives deep into the mustached man's psyche : )  This strange turn of events has been developed into Danielle's very funny and entertaining Tumblr page aptly named "My Cloud Pal".

FEBRUARY: Cloud Pal, this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

MARCH: Ok. Go.

APRIL: Luscious. 

MAY: My Cloud Pal hit rock bottom. It was time to make a change. 

JUNE: Cloud Pal’s new workout plan.

JULY: Sweat through the pain. Never give up. Never stop taking selfies.

AUGUST: OH YEAH.

SEPTEMBER: I miss my luscious locks but running is so much easier without my ponytail.

OCTOBER: Cloud Pal, friends DON’T let friends SELFIE and drive. 

NOVEMBER: I would say MOVEMBER but it’s always MOVEMBER for my Cloud Pal.

DECEMBER: Success.

***Danielle wants to make sure that people don't think the mustached man stole her phone.  She says she lost her phone, and she thinks someone either gave the phone to him, or he bought it from them.
